The Lights of Lake Park Estates! 🎄This 3 mile festive display is just 22 minutes north of Downtown St Pete. FREE! Donations are accepted and benefit the Suncoast Hospice Foundation, a member of Empath Health. I spoke with Nichole on staff, know they appreciate the support. Details below. First, long time followers know I love posting places filled with Christmas spirit. Many memories of childhood Christmas parties, caroling with our youth group, touring lights, you name it. Yes, friends joke I grew up in the ol’ Brady Bunch. Over these next 3 weeks, in addition to my regular posts, you’ll see lots of festive “things to do” posts. Do you have a favorite decorated spot or business? Comment below and I’ll add to my list! First up… The Lights of Lake Park Estates! This free annual event is open to all via car or walking. They’ve raised over $1M through donations since 1993. All proceeds benefit Suncoast Hospice Foundation, a member of Empath Health. 🗓️ Dec 1st - Dec 31st 🕕 6pm - 10pm nightly. I recommend visiting near 6pm for less traffic. ⭐️ 570+ reviews with a 4.6/5 Avg Location: These intersections below will lead you to the area. Some GPSs say “Largo”, while others say “Seminole”. 📍Main entrance near 109th & 110th Ave. N., off Bryan Dairy Road 📍Lake Park Dr & 109th Ave N, Seminole 📍106th Ave N & Lake Park Dr, Seminole 📍109th Ave N & 102nd Ave N, Seminole 🚶Can you walk the lights? Yes, though no parking in the neighborhood. Park outside and then walk in. History: “The Lights of Lake Park Estates originated in 1993 to celebrate the life of our neighbor, Ruby Dow, and salute the care she received from our community hospice, Suncoast Hospice […] the neighborhoods of Lake Park Estates, Wieker, Lakeside Estates, and Lake Seminole Village, generously decorate with over 3 miles of Christmas Lights & Decorations for the public to enjoy”.
