The Empath Health Women’s Giving Network is excited to meet for their 2nd annual grant giving luncheon on June 21, 2018. The members will collectively invest their contributions to create or expand innovative programs and services of Empath Health.

According to WealthManagement.com, women control much of the nation’s wealth. Women own more than half of the investable assets in the U. S., and are expected to inherit 70% of the intergenerational wealth transfer over the next 35 years.

Most women claim that being able to give to charity and create community is one of the most satisfying aspects of having wealth. The Women’s Giving Network offers a way to engage like-minded women in rewarding experiences of philanthropy and leadership. They work together to pool their donations,   make a positive impact on the people we serve and encourage other women to join and help generate community change.

Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Women’s philanthropy groups have changed giving into an involved, meaningful activity, and they are indeed changing the world.

We would love to have you join the Women’s Giving Network and be part of the change in our community. You still have time to become a member and participate in the 2nd annual grant giving luncheon. Please contact Carla Mattern at (727) 523-3414 or CarlaMattern@EmpathHealth.org to learn more about membership.
